I carry a titanium one on my key chain. I've damaged flathead screwdrivers before & the pry bar finally earned it's way on the key chain among other things.

You aren't going to get a better scandi under 50. The garberg runs a little expensive and starts to compete against some good US and Norwegian knives. My basic does everything I need in a scandi though

I’m so confused. Why stop innovating? Is it the T4 and K4 tools too? I love them for the one handed opening options it just made sense, faster and more efficient. (Only wish they made slip joint versions of them, do you think they are easy to modify to slip joints?.) And wish the T4 had metal for the spacers. Surprised there isn’t any after market makes.) Why are Victorinox stopping the production of the Evo line? It just a modernisation of the line. And I definitely like it. They could even just keep making the scales for people to stick on their knives, I wish they made scales of all types with all the mods people have made to fit more tools. A Evo Swiss champ would have been nice! Anyway another thing many makers of SAK’s (3” bladed models.) are missing out on are one handed opening tools especially the main blade (like Swiza have done. And they deserve more recognition for their ingenuity!.) Even the Boker tech tools are so suited for one handed with their modern styling. Sorry for the long post it just makes me sad to see this, apparently Victorinox has stopped making the Solider? And the ranger line? Then Cold steel has stopped alt of stuff too like the Kris stuff, even the Vaquero(which I thought was one fo their best sellers.) and the Ti lites too? So confused as to why if this is all true? Sorry again this has just dragged!

I EDC a Signal and it’s plenty alongside a fixed blade. Wave+ and P4 in a couple other roles tho.

NexTool for the win! Note also: the adapter in their bit kit (I got mine with the Light Wrench W2 and Black Wrench) fits onto the Victorinox in line Phillips! There's a little play side to side but not much. And no play while turning. What's more, that NexTool adapter fits regular 1/4" bits as well as the Steinwhale small double sided bits perfectly! Wiha double sided and Leatherman also seat, but I haven't tested how they work IRL. There is a little play with the Leathermans. The hex end 711L ratchet works perfectly of course, and the Leatherman end 711L ratchet seats too but with a little play. Bottom line, the Nextool bit adapter + Steinwhale bit kit and extender are MUST haves for those who carry Victorinox's with the in line Phillips (found on magnifying glass and flashlight models). The hex end 711L ratchet would be very nice to have as well.

I got my sqt 2048a 2 days ago with full intentions of replacing the wood saw with the t-shank adapter from my Rocktol SK05 but now I'm having second thoughts....that saw is vicious! The sqt is actually everything i prefer and therefore can't find anything to mod to it. I did add a magnet to the driver and added a nite eyes pocket clip...but I think it's everything I want

I think making a keychain tool - by necessity small, lightly built and therefore relatively fragile-for the US market, where people will literally brag about abusing them, combined with extensive warranty (especially “no questions asked “ style) is a recipe for unsustainable business. People will over torque pliers, cut unsuitable materials, and basically try to use the tiny keychain to tackle task better suited to dedicated tool or larger multi tools. And why wouldn’t you? The vendor will replace that shit for you.

Remember TSA friendly dors not mean international airport security friendly. It doesn't even mean that it meets the airline security standards. If an airline policy is stricter than tge TSA they can deny you entry on the plane.

Yes the gears for the pliers should be made of stronger thicker steel.

The shears its very Bad. I have send Back this knife. And the knife have cratches.

My experience is great design, poor quality steel. A spring snapped and blades dulled quickly on my example. I've yet to break my Bibury 🤞

I broke down and bought a ARC and love it. With that said, I feel Leatherman has abandoned the folks that got them to the forty year mark. I was disappointed that they didn’t offer a more readily available forty year commemorative tool to thank the guys/ gals that got them all this way. I love my Leatherman tools, but have a Roxon Flex on preorder to try something different. I’m giving the Chinese a try, we will see how I like it!

I carry my large heavy P4 Free but have to confess the serrated blade is really wanting in grind and quality. I like the knife blade ok and the blade/tool lock and deployment is nice. For the price i think its, well, overpriced. Theres just things about materials and QC that could be better. I wont even go into how disappointed i am that the affordable old Squirts were discontinued. My old Supertool 200 is too hard to use and Ill be looking at something else to replace it.

For me, I wish it had a nice nail file, like the kind victorinox uses for their tools. Ive been searching for a keychain multitool perfect for me. I want to carry just one, tiny tool for the specific uses I have. I want pliers, a knife, scissors and a file in a single tool. The squirt sounds like exactly what I want, but for obvious reasons, I cant get it. The gerber dime is close, but the lack of useful file is a huge issue. This item is good, but the lack of file makes me sad.

I just welded victorinox scissors to the saw pivot. Works good so far.

Every clone I ever had turned out to be garbage . I have a few Leatherman's from the 90's that are rock solid .
